Satirical artist John Holcroft has a highly unique view of the modern world. This Yorkshire based artist works digitally but his style emulates a 1950s screen printed poster advert. This process is far quicker than a traditional method and allows Holcroft to send his work via email or make any alterations easily. His deceptively simple style allows him to address some pretty heavy subjects and themes.
From obesity to digital additions; from consumerism to taxation; from alienation to religious intolerance, Holcroft’s witty and satirical drawings challenge our modern beliefs and social issues.
Holcroft’s work has been featured all across the globe in magazines such as the Financial Times, BBC, Reader’s Digest and the New York Times.
