Some of the most striking photographic images on the planet are those featuring wildlife. We’ve all seen countless photographs of the most exotic animals in their natural habitat but what about literal wildlife photographers – animals actually taking photos of other animals?
There are many examples through nature of animals using rudimentary tools. Sea otters have been observed using stones to crack open shell fish; chimps use sticks to fish for ants and termites; crows have even been seen to drop hard shelled nuts into the path of traffic and letting the cars crack them open.
This set of amazing photographs capture another side of animal ingenuity as the photographic subjects themselves become the actual photographers.
